Day 9

Today was a BUSY day! Also, there were no classes. ;) The day started with everyone getting together and heading towards the Keats House, which is the house that the poet John Keats lived in while he was alive. After discovering that the bathroom had an interesting "hand-shower" and touring the museum, everybody relaxed outside for a while and then listened to some live poetry by some of our finest.

We then headed into town to eat lunch and relax. Dylan, Jake, Nate and I found this cheap little restaurant and I ate a pretty nice cheeseburger there. We then met up with our professors and took a bus to Highgate Cemetery, where the famous Karl Marx is buried and has a memorial. My group took a different path than everyone else and wandered throughout the cemetery for a while, before meeting up with everybody else. It was neat seeing some of the oldest tombs with some vines and growth over them.

We then headed to the top of a hill that I cannot recall the name of. This video sums up that visit.

We met up with Jacqueline, Katherine and Ellyse and went to a cool bar, followed by going to the Globe Theatre to watch A Midsummer Night's Dream. Overall, pretty good and exciting day!
